Monroe Sheriff’s Office Makes Drug Arrest
According to Monroe County Sheriff Charles Black, Jr. at approximately 7:17 p.m., Wednesday night, January 22, the Monroe County SRT Team along with Monroe County Detectives, Monroe County Road Units, and Monroe County K-9 Unit executed a Search Warrant at 38829 SR 7 in Duffy Ohio.
During the execution of the Warrant, the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office recovered approximately 2 ounces of Meth and drug paraphernalia.
Samuel Pete was arrested for Possession of Meth, Trafficking in Meth, and Drug Paraphernalia.
Samuel is currently on Federal Parole out of Wheeling West Virginia, also arrested was Krista Dennis.
Both were arrested for Possession of Meth, Trafficking in Meth, and Drug Paraphernalia.
They were both transported to the Monroe County Jail where they are awaiting arraignment.
According to reports from area residents and local church members, what appeared to be shots were heard and the Church was locked and lights turned out.
Church members reportedly hit the floor and waited until someone let them know it was safe to resume their service.
The Wetzel Chronicle and Tyler Star News spoke to Sheriff Black who verified the warrant was served and the arrests were made.
