On May 2, Tyler County held it’s annual National Day of Prayer event at the Tyler County Courthouse. The theme of the 2019 NDP was “LOVE ONE ANOTHER”. A fitting theme to go along with the words of Jesus, who said to “Love one another as I have loved you.”

Pastor Mike Lentz welcome welcomed everyone and thanked each one for coming out to clebrate on the special occasion.

The National Anthem was sang by everyone in attendance and led by Christy. While the Pledge of Allegiance was led by the Indian Creek Christian Schol Kids.

Prayer for the men and women of the Military was given by Larry Roberts, while Herman Haught prayed for the Police and First Responders.

Chelsea sang another praise song followed by prayer for the youth and schools from Amy Morrow. Prayer for our families was given by Charlotte Forester and Did Slider prayed for the Churches.

The closing prayer was from Chelsea.
