UPDATE — In a Facebook post at around 9 p.m., Feb. 12, Mayor Rice said water service would not be restored that night due to issues with the water leak.

FEB. 12 — According to Sistersville Mayor Bill Rice, Sistersville’s Cemetery Hill area is currently under a boil order due to a water line break.

The mayor’s social media statement, posted at around 6 p.m., noted that this order will not affect Genesis Health Care, McCormick Greene Apartments and Timber Ridge Apartments, as those areas are on a different line.
