3:32 P.M. — According to Sistersville Fire-Rescue, Route 2 between Sistersville and Paden City is now open.

1:19 P.M. — The roadway is still closed; crews are still working.

NOV. 16, 9:20 A.M. — Route 2 between Sistersville and Paden City remains closed due to a slip from the hillside. A spokesman from the WVDOH’s Sistersville station stated the roadway should be opened sometime this afternoon.

The roadway closed at around 7:30 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 15. The slip is in the same location as previous slips from this past year.
