Tyler County Votes Are Tallied

10:06 p.m. —

All precincts have been reported in Tyler County. Republican Michael Smith has defeated Democrat Julia Archer. Smith garnered 1,869 votes, while Archer acquired 927 votes.

In the House of Delegates District Six race, Republican David Kelly had strong support in Tyler County voters. He acquired 1,916 votes, while Democrat T. Chris Combs acquired 540 votes. J. Scott Beaver, an Independent, acquired 326 votes.

9:51 p.m. —

In Tyler County, 9/10 precincts have been tallied. One more precinct is to be tallied, along with early votes and absentee votes.

Republican Michael Smith leads Democrat Julia Archer – 1,163 to 575.

Tyler Countians are also showing strong support for Republican David Kelly for the House of Delegates District Six seat. Kelly (1,188) leads Democrat T. Chris Combs (336) and Independent J. Scott Beaver (205).

9:35 p.m. — With 6/10 precincts counted, Republican Michael Smith leads Democrat Julia Archer – 755 to 379 votes.

In Tyler County Republican David Kelly (782) leads Democrat T. Chris Combs (227) and Independent J. Scott Beaver (122).

9:13 p.m. — With 3 of 10 Tyler County precincts counted, Republican Michael Smith leads Democrat Julia Archer for the open Tyler County Commission seat – 301 to 148.

Tyler County voters are also casting their ballots for Republican David Kelly (321 votes). In Tyler County he leads Democrat Chris Combs (93) and Independent Scott Beaver (33).

7:34 p.m. — Polls have closed in West Virginia, and the Tyler Star News will share results from local races as votes are tallied.
