Grand Jury Hands Down Indictments
The May 2018 session of the Tyler County Grand Jury recently met behind closed doors. The following individuals were indicted:
* Joshua D. Berryman, of 312 East St., Sistersville, was indicted on the felony charge of attempted malicious wounding by unlawfully, feloniously and maliciously attempting to wound Patrolman Anthony Lauer with a knife. Berryman was given a second count of obstructing an officer, a third count of Fleeing from an Police Officer, and a fourth count of brandishing a deadly weapon.
* Ryan O. Davis, 43, of 1284 Sandy’s Run Road, West Union, and Christian E. Iverson, 31, of 650 Park Ave., New Martinsville, were indicted on the charge of the felony offense entry of a building other than a dwelling.
They were given a second charge of petit larceny by unlawfully stealing, taking and carrying away certain property, having a value of less than one thousand dollars. Davis was given a third charge of possession of a firearm by a prohibited person for being in possession of a .22 caliber Remington rifle.
* Joshua D. Minor, 21, of 6024 Elk Fork Road, Middlebourne, was given a two count indictment for the felony offenses of distribution of material depicting a minor engaged in sexually explicit conduct.
* Kylia Marie Jones, 27, of 47 Malloy Street, Middlebourne, and Kimberly D. Brenneman, 48, of 3327 Tyler Highway, Middlebourne, were indicted on the felony charge of burglary by breaking and entering a dwelling house with intent to commit a crime therein. They were given a second count of grand larceny by unlawfully stealing, taking and carrying away certain property having a value of more than one thousand dollars.
