In recognition of Child Abuse Prevention month, The Lighthouse Child Advocacy Center recently held a pinwheel coloring contest for grades K-3 in Tyler County. The completed coloring pages were displayed at area businesses throughout the county. Two winners were chosen from both Boreman and Sistersville Elementary Schools. The winners of the contest received a sports H20 bottle filled with stickers, a keychain, $10 Walmart gift card, and a pinwheel that represents Child Abuse Prevention month.
