Middlebourne held its annual Easter Egg Hunt at the Stealey-Green Center in Middlebourne on Saturday, March 24, beginning at 11 a.m.. There were several members of the community present as numbers increse every year.

There were 9,000 eggs to be found this year, and if a child found a blue egg with a large black X on the bottom, that child would get to choose from a few special Easter baskets available. There was also a craft table, a coloring table, and even face painting for the kids. Popcorn and drinks were also available for all of the egg hunters. Every child received a balloon; attached to each balloon was a toy, bubbles, and a bug catcher.

Easter coloring sheets have been placed throughout the community for people to enjoy. Some of the locations include: the Post Office, the Fire Department, Boggs Pizza, Long Reach Credit Union, the Middlebourne Library, the Farmers Exchange, and at the Magistrate Office. There will be a winner chosen from each age group and that child will receive a special prize.
