B&B Buffet Coming Soon To Main Street Middlebourne
The B&B Buffet will be opening its doors on Main Street Middlebourne in the near future. Owners Bonnie Henthorn and Becky Ruble are hoping to have the grand-opening on March 16, but building renovations are ongoing.
The design of the interior will include a historical look, to keep with the fact that the building has had many uses, one being a bank.
There will also be remnants of other buildings from town used in the design work, such as baseboards that were once part of the Adam’s House.
The ceiling will be completed with tin, salvaged from Zula’s (the former pink building on Main Street). The location of the B&B Buffet is where Did’s Design was formerly located, and Slider, herself, will have a set-up in the restaurant for those who might desire to purchase gift-items from her.
The dining experience will consist of a buffet that will change daily to keep a variety available to customers. The food items will be homemade and made fresh every day.
The hours are projected to be from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sundays. Henthorn said, “We will be evolving, and we want to be creative with it, so it is not the same; it’ll be flexible and accommodates all kinds of people.”
The main goal of the B&B Buffet is for people to be able to cater to themselves.
They may go to the buffet when they are hungry and refill their drinks when they are thirsty; this eliminates the need to tip any waitresses, which saves the customer that extra expense. To-go boxes will also be available for those on the run.
B&B Buffet is designed to help folks who need a meal during the hustle of everyday life, while being affordable.
Henthorn and Ruble are not trying to compete with other local businesses, but they just want to offer another option to the community.
