By Staff | Nov 22, 2017

Seat were full as several people attended the MVFD fundraiser.

A quarter auction was recently held at the Stealey-Green Center in Middlebounre. The purpose of the auction was to raise enough money to purchase a new stove for the Middlebounre Volunteer Fire Department. There were several vendors setup with a wide variety of items to be won. The Stealey-Green Center was packed and paddles were raising left and right as attendees bid on items.

The volunteer firemen worked the concession stands while lady volunteers ran the auction. They worked well together as a collective group to better the community. The Volunteer Fire Department would like to thank all of the volunteers, local businesses and vendors that helped contribute to making the auction a great success.

Altogether, the MVFD raised $2,065.71 which will allow them to purchase a new stove to further benefit the community.
