Tyler County Sheriff’s Office deputies made quite the discovery on Wednesday, Aug. 9, after conducting a traffic stop.

The stop resulted in the arrest of Bruce Allen Evou, Jr., of St. Clairsville, Ohio.

According to the TCSO, the traffic stop occurred at approximately 7:43 a.m. in Middlebourne.

During the course of the traffic stop investigation, deputies discovered 4.6 pounds of marijuana, with a street value of $12,800. Deputies also recovered prescription pills.

Evou was identified as the driver of the vehicle and was arrested and charged with “Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Intent to Deliver (Marijuana).

A traffic stop on Aug. 9 resulted in Tyler County Sheriff’s deputies recovering 4.6 pounds of marijuana.

Evou was processed through Tyler County Magistrate Court and placed on a $250,000 bond.

He was transported to North Central Regional Jail.
