TCHS Names 2017 Valedictorian, Salutatorian
Tyler Consolidated High School has named this years Valedictorian and Salutatorian. Jennifer Lynch has been named as the Valedictorian this year. Lynch is planning to attend West Virginia University to study Aerospace Engineering and Electrical Engineering. When asked about some of her favorite classes, Lynch replied, “My favorite classes have to be Mrs. Grover’s math courses and Mr. Myer’s Chemistry and Physics classes.” She also stated that her fondest memories are with the TCHS band, especially this year being a successful field commander and having a new director in Mr. Jennings. When given an opportunity to recognize those who have helped her along the way, Lynch replied, “I would like to thank my mom and dad, Barb and Mike Lynch, my sister, Heather Lynch, Mrs. Grover, Mr. Myer, Mr. Jennings, and Mrs. Conklin. I have had a great last year here at Tyler Consolidated, and I will surly miss the people and surroundings that I have grown use to.”
Justin Brinkmeier has been named this years Salutatorian. Brinkmeier is planning on attending West Liberty University where he will be studying Pre-Medical Biology to one day become a Pediatrician. Brinkmeier stated, “I always knew I wanted to go into the medical field, but it was my freshmen year when I decided to become a Pediatrician.” He also stated that, “he will miss all of his friends and the memories that he has made along the way.” Some of his favorite classes were Biology and Chemistry, you can tell he is a big fan of the sciences. When given a chance to recognize those who have helped him along the way, Brinkmeier stated, “I want to thank my parents, Brian and Tricia Brinkmeier, and my grandparents, Mike and Christine Farhatt.”
