Magistrates Dotson and Griffin Hear Cases

Samuel B. Warner, 62, of 1632 Big Run Rd., Alma, W. Va., was charged in Magistrate court with the misdemeanour offense of false pretenses. The charge is alleged to have occurred on Feb. 14, in Tyler County. He is under a $3,000 personal recognizance bond and a hearing is scheduled for Dec. 23.

Seth Andrew Watson, 27, of 301 Main St., Middlebourne, was charged with possession of a controlled substance in Tyler County having occurred on Sept. 29. He pleaded guilty to the charge and was sentenced to 90 days in jail, which was suspended. He was placed on six months probation unsupervised. He was fined $185.25 including costs and fees.

Austin Daniel Vandine, of P.O. Box 4, Alma, W.Va., is charged with two misdemeanour offenses of failure to maintain control and no proof of insurance. The charges are alleged to have occurred on Oct. 5, in Tyler County. He was placed under a $200 personal recognizance bond.

Joseph R. Barnes, 22, of 4185 Jackson Run Road, New Matamoras, Ohio, was charged on Oct. 2, with driving on a suspended license and acts prohibited by an operator. Bond was set at $500 personal recognizance.

Mitchell Ryan Mosser, 30, of 513 Jamison Hill Road, Friendly, W. Va., was charged on Oct. 10, with the misdemeanour offense of domestic battery. He was placed on a $5,000 cash/surety bond.

Joseph Lee Richardson, 33, of 1542 Rippentuck Road, Friendly, W.Va., was granted a continuance in his case of unlawful restraint and domestic battery. The misdemeanour charges are alleged to have occurred on Oct. 10, in Tyler County. Richardson remains free on a $10,000 cash/surety bond. A hearing will be held at a later date.

Ralph Wilber White, 34, of 710 Grandview St., Parkersburg, has been charged with the misdemeanour offense of domestic battery. The offense is alleged to occur on Oct. 13. He is free on a $1,000 bond and a pre-trial hearing is scheduled for Dec. 1.

John Michael Stevens, Jr., 22, of 432 Thurman Ave., Weirton, W. Va., pleaded no contest in Magistrate court to driving on a suspended license, no inspection sticker, and no insurance. He was fined $570.50 including costs and fees.

Michael Shawn Hartline, 31, of 673 Terrace Court, Sistersville, pleaded guilty before Magistrate Mary Dotson to driving while suspended or revoked. He was fined $260.25 including costs and fees.

Robert Greathouse, 39, of 33, Margery Run Road, Middlebourne, has a pre-trial hearing scheduled for Dec. 15, on the misdemeanour charges of receiving or transporting stolen goods. The offenses are alleged to have occurred on Aug. 21, in Tyler County. He is under a $2,000 cash/surety bond.

William Seth McNees, 26, of 212 South Fourth Ave., Paden City, was charged on Oct. 30, with the misdemeanour offenses of domestic battery and unlawful destruction of property. He is under a $5,000 cash/surety bond with a hearing to be set.

Jeffery A. Ash, 54, of 8982 Energy Road, Friendly, is charged with driving on a license revoked for DUI, The offense is alleged to occur on Sept. 1. Bond has been set at $500 personal recognizance with a pre-trial hearing to be set.

Amber Marie Jerico, 28, of 406 Oakland Rd., Charleroi, Pa., was charged in Tyler County Magistrate Court with DUI greater than .08. The offense is alleged to have occurred on Aug. 27. Bond was set at $500 P.R. with a pre-trial hearing to be set.

Jeremy D. Brown, 34, of 553 Alley Addition St., Pine Grove, pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana 15 grams. Another charge of possession of Oxycodone was dismissed. Brown was placed on six months unsupervised probation and he was fined $160.25 including costs and fees.

Charles Francis Nottingham, 39, of 396 Davis Road, Pennsboro, entered a guilty plea to one count of DUI-Drugs. He was ordered in Tyler County Magistrate court to spend 23 hours in jail and pay fines, costs and fees totaling $455,24.

Robert D. McIntyre, 44, of 6897 Indian Creek Road, Jacksonburg, W. Va., is charged in Tyler County Magistrate Court with the misdemeanour offense of stalking. It is alleged to have occurred on Sept. 9. He has been placed on a $1,000 personal recognizance bond and a bench trial will be held on Dec. 20.

William Seth McNees, 26, of 212 S. 4th Ave., Paden City, was charged on Sept. 2, with a violation of a protective order. Bond was set at $1,000 personal recognizance bond and a hearing will be set,

Cory Allen Moore, 21, of 193 Temple Circle, Sistersville, is charged in magistrate court with fleeing from an officer, alleged to have occurred on Sept. 15. He has been placed on a $5,000 cash/surety bond and a pre-trial hearing is set for Dec.1.
