Paden City Prepares for Labor Day
The annual Paden City Labor Day Weekend will begin on Saturday, Sept. 5.
The festivities will begin at noon on Saturday with opening ceremonies and inflatables. Half Cracked will start at 12:30. The Remedy will take the stage at 2:30 p.m., and The Chase will take the stage at 8:30 p.m. The Chase is a powerful and entertaining rock and roll unit.
On Sunday, Sept. 6, at 1 p.m., inflatables will be available. Beacon Road will take the stage at 2 p.m., and Rick K and the All Nighters will take 9 p.m. Rick K and the All Nighters are an American rock and roll band.
On Labor Day, the 5K race will began at 8 a.m., the parade will follow at 1 p.m. Inflatables will be available at 2 p.m., and Adam D. Tucker will take the stage. At 5 p.m. DeWayne Spaw will take the stage. Returning headliner Jimmy Fortune will take the stage at 7:30 p.m.
Along with inflatables, there will be a duck pound, crafters, dime pitch and face painting. The Paden City Volunteer Fire Department will hold a fish fry on Sunday, from 1 to 6 p.m., and Monday, 2 to 6 p.m. There will be an all you can eat breakfast from 8 to noon. Food will be available all three days.
