Pageant Contestants Ready for the Tyler County Fair

Grace and prestige will take center stage Monday, Aug. 3 when the annual fair pagents will be held the evening of Monday, August 3 at the Tyler County Fair.

Eleven young ladies are vying for the most coveted title of the night, the title of Miss Tyler County Fair.

The contestants are as follows:

Tori Anderson, 18, of Paden City, is the granddaughter of Dan and Sue Anderson. Her interests involve being a modesty advocator for young girls, having 16 years of dance experience at All-Valley School of Dance, varsity softball, cheerleading, cross-country, marching and concert band, collecting snow globes, bicycling, reading Nicholas Sparks books, and volunteering through Energy Express.

Rebecca Bolin, 17,of Middlebourne, is the daughter of Al and Julie Bolin. Rebecca’s interests include marching band, jazz band, concert band, 4-H, FFA, track, cross country, photography club, and hunting.

Jessica Fiber, 20, of Sistersville, is the daughter of John and Sherri Fiber. Jessica’s interests include cheerleading, gymnastics, pageants, RAZE club, lifeguarding at the pool, promoting Children’s Miracle Network, and spending time with friends and family.

Katelyn Jennae Gogan, 17, of Alma, is the daughter of Jennifer and Timothy Gogan. Her interests include FFA, 4-H, basketball, soccer, track, prom club, student council, camping with family, kayaking, and fishing.

Tiffany Jackson, 17, of Paden City, is the daughter of Jesse and Sheri Jackson. Tiffan’ys activities include racing at the Tyler County Speedway, cheering, spending time with family and friends, volunteering at Sistersville nursing home, and Cardiac Kids.

Marisha Morris, 17, of Middlebourne, is the daughter of Jeff and Natasha Morris. Marisha’s interests include marching/concert band, track, Spanish club, prom club, student council, Hi-Y, Project Pediatrics, National Honor Society, and Solo and Ensemble.

Hannah Phillips, 19, of Sistersville, is the daughter of Jeff and Linda Buchanan. Hannah’s interests include spending time with family, vacationing at the beach, and spoiling her dogs.

Haley Nicole Stewart, 18, of Middlebourne, is the daughter of Harley and Connie Stewart. Her interests include 4-H, FFA, soccer, track, community service, working with animals, teaching crafts at 4-H camp, serving at fundraiser dinners, and adopting baby calves.

Miranda Taylor, 20, of Sistersville, is the daughter of Larry and Katrina Taylor. Miranda’s interests include fishing, hunting, traveling, cheerleading, gymnastics, chamber choir, 4-H, FFA, helping in the community, and spending time with family and freinds.

Seminole Lynn Weekley, 16, of Friendly, is the daughter of Allan and Dessie Weekley. Seminole’s activities include raising koi fish, restoring tractors, cheerleading, Project Pediatrics, Knights Krazies, teaching gymanstics, volunteering at Vacation Bible School, Ronald McDonald House volunteer, riding four-wheelers, babysitting, and writing poems.

Brooke Wright, 17, of Shirley, is the daughter of Ellsworth Cork and Stacey Wright. Brooke enjoys swimming, babysitting and reading a good book. She absolutely loves dirt track races, riding ATVs, and camping with family.

The Miss Tyler County Fair pageant will be held after the Children’s Pageant and Pre-Teen and Teen Pageants. The pageant festivities will kick-off with the Children’s Pageant, slated for 6 p.m.
