Samuel B. Warner, 61, and Timothy J. Lasure, 37, both of Tyler County, were arrested on several charges.

On Thursday, July 16, Tyler County Sheriff’s deputies stopped a truck on Rt. 18, east of Sistersville. The truck was reported stolen from Doddridge County.

After stopping the truck, methamphetamine pipes were found in the vehicle. Warner, who resides at 1362 Big Run Road, Alma, WVa., was operating the vehicle when it was stopped.

Deputies obtained permission from Warner to search his residence shortly after midnight. Deputies found evidence of a clandestine drug lab. Charges of operating or attempting to operate a clandestine drug lab were filed against both Lasure and Warner and they were taken to the North Central Regional Jail.

They were later arraigned in magistrate court and placed on $30,000 cash/surety bond.
