5 Criminal Grand Jury Indictments Come Down

– Christopher L. Lewis, 25, of 512 Lemon Alley, Paden City, W.Va., was named by the Tyler County Grand Jury as the defendant in a 12 count indictment charging him with seven felony offenses and five misdemeanour offenses.

Count One charges the felony offense of Braking and Entering a Building other than a Dwelling, Count Two charges him with the felony offense of Grand Larceny, Count Three charges the misdemeanour offense of Destruction of Property, Count Four charges the felony offense of Forgery, Count Five charges the felony offense of Uttering, Count Six charges the felony offense of Breaking and Entering a building other than a dwelling, Count Seven charges the misdemeanour offense of Petit Larceny, Count Eight charges the misdemeanour offense of destruction of property, Count Nine charges the felony offense of Breaking and Entering a building other than a dwelling, Count 10 charges the misdemeanour offense of Petit Larceny, Count 11 charges the misdemeanour offense of Destruction of Property, and count 12 charges the felony offense of Daytime Burglary.

All of the crimes are alleged to have occurred between April 24 and May 13, 2015 in Tyler County West Virginia.

– Caitlyn D. Tallman, 25, of Middlebourne, W.Va., was charged in a two count indictment with the felony offense of Delivery of a Controlled Substance, heroin, alleged to have occurred on December 9, 2014 in Tyler County. She was also charged with the felony offense of Conspiracy to commit an offense against the state by conspiring with Allen J. Murphy, for the purpose of delivery of heroin. The crime is alleged to occur between December 3, and December 13 in Tyler County.

– Joshua L. Hunter, 36, of 449 Pleasants Ridge Rd., Sistersville, W.Va., is named in a one count indictment for the felony offense of Driving while license revoked for driving under the influence of alcohol-third offense. The crime is alleged to have occurred on March 4, 2015, in Tyler County.

– Christopher Dodrill, 25, of 133 Cliff Street, Sistersville, W.Va., is charged in a two count indictment with two felony offenses. Count one charges Dodrill with the felony offense of Child abuse resulting in serious bodily injury to a child under the age of 18. Count two charges him with the felony offense of malicious assault, with the intent to maim, disfigure, disable or kill. Both crimes are alleged to have occurred on November 3, 2014, in Tyler County.

– Earl Dean McWhorter, 32, of 311 Pullman Avenue, Pennsboro, W.Va., was named by the Tyler County Grand Jury as the defendant in an eight count felony indictment charging him with various sexual crimes against a child under the age of 18. All the crimes are alleged to have occurred In Tyler County between October 2014 and November 9, 2014.
