After being cancelled last week due to inclement weather and cold, the Sistersville Community Service Organization sponsored Sistersville Christmas Parade went on without a hitch on Friday in Sistersville. Led by Tyler Consolidated High School’s Marching Band and parade marshals David and Audist Pancake, the parade went north on Wells St. through the business district featuring several local queens, floats and a childrens’ dance group.
The theme for this year’s parade was “A Picture Perfect Christmas.” Winners of the float decorating and business window displays will be announced at a later date.
