Paden City to celebrate homecoming

The annual Paden City High School homecoming festivities will be held on Friday. Parade line up will be at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church at 5:30 p.m., with step off at 6 p.m. It will go north on state Route 2 to the high school. Before the game the PCES choir will perform, as well as the combined PCHS and alumni band. The Paden City Boosters will be serving light snacks and drinks. At halftime of the game between Cameron and Paden City, the multi-purpose building will be re-named the Jesse Brown Memorial Hall and the fine arts wing will be named for Ross “Ed” Hood. The crowning of the homecoming queen will conclude the halftime festivities. See more about Hood and his legacy at PCHS on page 7.
