Hearings are held in Tyler Circuit Court
Two cases were continued in Tyler County Circuit Court Sept. 8, after plea agreements were offered.
Tracy A. Keller, 46, of Dodd Street, Middlebourne, was represented by attorney Jessica Myers.
Keller is charged with two felony offenses of illegal drug activity involving methamphetamine. The offenses were handed down in an indictment by the June term of the Tyler County grand jury. They are alleged to have occurred between July 25, 2013, and Aug. 30, 2013, in Tyler County.
Myers told the court they are considering a plea offer that has been made by the state and her client is making referral to drug court and checking on her eligibility. Judge Karl continued the case until Oct. 2. Without objection, he allowed her bond to continue. He ordered her to stay in contact with her attorney and return to court on the above date.
Brock I. McMahon, 23, of West Main Street, Paden City, appeared with his attorney, Joseph Munoz.
McMahon was last in court on Aug. 23, when he entered a plea of innocent to two felony charges of illegal drug activity involving methamphetamine. He was indicted by the June term of the Tyler grand jury for his alleged involvement in the manufacturing of methamphetamine, alleged to have occurred between July 28, 2013, and Aug. 28, 2013, in Tyler County.
His attorney said discovery was completed and he would ask for a trial date. He said he had received a plea offer, which was not accepted. Judge Karl set a return date of Sept. 29. He asked the parties to try to reach an agreement. McMahon was allowed to remain free on bond. He was told to return to court on the above date and to stay in contact with his attorney.
