A suspicious house fire broke out shortly after noon on Monday in Sistersville at 320 Cliff St., a home that has been abandoned for quite some time. Sistersville Volunteer Fire Department and Paden City’s Volunteer Fire Company responded to the incident, which left the home a total loss. The cause of the fire is still under investigation at this time.

The Family Dollar Store donated two cases of drinking water for the firefighters.
