Arts In The Park to continue Friday

Barbara Vincent and Clara Glover, Arts in the Park co-chairs, and Carman Harman as Uncle Sam invite all to Arts in the Park on Friday from 1 until 5 p.m.
The tradition of Arts in the Park on July 4 will continue in 2014 at Bruce Park in New Martinsville.
The Friday festivities will last from 1-5 p.m. under the sponsorship of the New Martinsville Parks & Recreation Commission, the Monroe Arts Council, and ArtsLink.
Carman Harman, playing Uncle Sam, will serve as Master of Ceremonies.
Arts and crafts demonstrations, along with exhibits by artists and craftsmen from Wetzel and Tyler counties in West Virginia and Monroe County, Ohio, will be featured.
Uncle Eddie and Robin will perform throughout the afternoon. Games for children will be coordinated through the New Martinsville Parks and Recreation Commission, which will also provide free soft drinks and popsicles. Additionally, other food items will be offered for sale. Balloon artist Miranda Rogers of BalloonOvations will thrill young and old alike with her free, twisted balloon creations. Danny Westfall will have his Bubble Wagon moving throughout the park, flaunting his whimsical floating bubbles.
