The Sistersville First United Methodist Church held a special “processional of the Cross” through the streets of Sistersville on Good Friday. The processional began at the City Building in Sistersville and proceeded north on Main Street to Hill Street, North Wells Street, through the business district and Charles Street. The processional stopped at the park and pavilion beside the Methodist Church. From 5-7 p.m. three young men hung on the three crosses near the pavilion, reminding the community about the crucifixion of Jesus.
