After 18 years of service in the town of Sistersville, Floral Expressions will be closing its doors on Jan. 31.

The flower and gift shop was purchased by Tyler County resident Barb Frum in 2004. Before that, since 1994, she had worked alongside former owner Jo Lynn Danser.

“I just love what I do,” Frum said when asked what prompted her to purchase the store and continue its operations.

She is currently looking for a buyer in hopes that someone else will continue the legacy. According to her, she is already in talks with a few interested parties.

Missy Moore, who currently works with Frum, has expressed her willingness to continue work alongside new owners.

Frum’s plans for retirement include spending more time with her family.

“I have four grandkids,” she said. “They’re fun.”
