SGH makes changes to its administrative team

By Staff | Jan 16, 2013

Sistersville General Hospital recently made changes to its Administrative Team by not renewing the contracts of Chief Executive Officer Brian Lowther and Chief Financial Officer Pat Burdette.

Shelly West has been named Interim CEO while John May is filling the role of Interim CFO. West is also the Director of Nursing at SGH.

“Both Ms. West and Mr. May bring a myriad of knowledge and experience to their respective roles,” said Director of Human Resources Mary Beth Neff. She further said both West and May have the complete support of the hospital’s Board of Managers, medical staff, and employees.

Applications for both positions are currently being accepted and reviewed for permanent placement.

“Sistersville General Hospital continues to make patient satisfaction our number one priority,” said ?Neff. “Services have not been affected by these recent changes in the administrative team. We appreciate the community’s support during this transition and we look forward to remaining your ‘World of Caring…Close to Home.'”

SGH, a 12-bed, not-for-profit Critical Access Hospital, has a rich tradition of providing quality healthcare in meeting the needs of its patients. Since its origination in 1908, the hospital has readily responded to the changing needs of the community.
