Reading program returns

By Staff | Jun 20, 2012

Sen. President Jeff Kessler (D-Marshall) reads to a group of children at Energy Express.

Providing nutritional meals, a safe environment, and learning activities, Energy Express is a summer program that improves the lives of children in Tyler County.

Energy Express began this summer on Monday, June 18 and is always looking for volunteers to work with children. Adults, high school students and middle school students are needed to help with reading, writing, art and drama activities each day. Those wishing to volunteer should come to one of the two sites, Sistersville Elementary School, or the Indian Creek Southern Baptist Church any weekday at 9 a.m.
