12 indicted in 35 ‘true’ bills

The State of West Virginia presented the following cases to the Tyler County Grand Jury Tuesday.

After the cases were presented, 35 true bills were returned against 12 defendants.

They were:

– Forrest J. Carroll: one count, driving under the influence (alcohol); one count, fleeing from a police officer in a vehicle while under the influence (alcohol).

– James Dean Wade: one count, driving while license revoked for DUI – third or subsequent offense.

– Gavin M. Hisam: one count, receiving stolen property.

– Jeremy C. Swartzmiller: one count, receiving stolen property.

– Tina Streets: one count, obtaining welfare assistance by false statement or misrepresentation.

– Timothy J. Judge: one count, failure to provide notice of registration change.

– Craig D. Bassett: one count, breaking and entering a building other than a dwelling; 1 count, grand larceny; one count, destruction of property.

– Timothy J. Nottingham: three counts, burglary; five counts, petit larceny; two counts, grand larceny; three counts, destruction of property; one count, entry of dwelling; three counts, entering without breaking (automobile); one count, breaking and entering a building other than a dwelling.

– Jason A. Young: one count, attempted breaking and entering a building other than a dwelling; one count, petit larceny.

– Steven M. Weekley: one count, attempted breaking and entering a building other than a dwelling; one count, petit larceny.

– Joshua E. Toothman: one count, failure to appear.
