Sistersville pool will open

Sistersville’s pool will open for the season on Thursday. Pool passes will be available.
Although scheduling conflicts and a lack of applicants have hindered the opening of the Sistersville City Pool, Mayor Dave Fox says “the pool will open” for the season on Thursday.
The pool will be open daily from 1-7 p.m., thanks to a group of certified lifeguards the city borrowed from other municipalities in the area.
The cost this year will be $3 per person, an increase from last year. Fox cited the increase in operating costs for the price hike, stating that it costs the city $300 per day to run the pool.
Pool passes will be available.
