A suspect has been apprehended in connection with an incident at HPS Pharmacy on March 12.

Joshua Toothman, 26, of Friendly was arrested on March 25 and charged with one felony count of burglary and one felony count of destruction of property stemming from the attempted breaking and entering of the local pharmacy located on Diamond Street in Sistersville.

Toothman’s attempts were thwarted when security alarms caught the attention of residents in the area who contacted the police.

Toothman has been released on bond.

The investigation is ongoing.
