Friendly woman found with drugs
A Friendly woman is facing a felony charge after a routine traffic stop in Sistersville on June 6.
At approximately 9:37 p.m., Veronica Myers, 43, of Locust Street, Friendly, was stopped by a patrolman from the Sistersville Police Department for an obstructed windshield.
During the course of the traffic stop, the officer became suspicious of the driver and after searching the vehicle, found Myers in possession of 20 stamps of Heroin.
Myers has been charged with felony possession of a schedule 1 controlled substance with the intent to deliver.
The department was assisted by the Paden City Police Department and the Tyler County Sheriff’s Office.
