American Legion Post 67 of Sistersville will be conducting a ceremony for the “dignified disposal” of unserviceable flags at 1 p.m. on Monday, June 14.

The ceremony will take place at the American Legion parking lot behind the Post.

Post Commander Brian Reed requests that anyone who may have a worn, town or soiled flag, bring it for proper disposal.

Those who wish to dispose of a flag but cannot attend the ceremony are asked to call 304-652-1534.
