Veterans Day Services will be held in Sistersville at the Veterans Memorial Park today at 11 a.m. Tyler County Sheriff Bob Kendle is scheduled to be the featured speaker for the ceremony which will include selections by the Tyler Consolidated High School Marching Band.

The day honors all military veterans of the United States and is generally celebrated with parades, speeches and recognition of local and national military heroes across the nation. Ceremonies in Sistersville are sponsored by Sistersville VFW Post #6327 and Sistersville American Legion Post #67.
