CFOV currently administers more than 60 scholarship funds, each created with specific criteria and awarded through a competitive application process. These scholarships are available to graduating high school seniors and currently enrolled college students within CFOV’s eight-county service area. Each award is made possible through the generosity of donors who have established scholarship funds to support and invest in future generations.

“We are honored to continue this tradition of recognizing and supporting the bright, hardworking students in our region,” said CFOV Executive Director Susie Nelson. “Every scholarship tells a story of community generosity and student achievement. We are proud to play a role in helping these young people pursue their educational goals and prepare for meaningful futures.”

Scholarships are just one of the many ways donors can support education through philanthropy. Whether through scholarships, educational programs, or other charitable initiatives, CFOV works closely with donors to align their philanthropic goals with community needs.

The next CFOV scholarship cycle will open in January 2026. For more information about scholarship opportunities, call 304-242-3144, email Jess Puglisi-Sanders at jess@cfov.org, or visit https://cfov.org/students/.
