Two Tyler Consolidated High School students got the chance to attend a leadership conference in California this summer.

Jackson Henderson and William Northcraft both attended the Future Business Leaders of America National Leadership Conference in Anaheim, Calif., during the month of July.

The students “proudly represented Tyler Consolidated High School and West Virginia in Website Design and Introduction to Programming,” according to the school’s social media.

“They attended workshops, checked out the vendor hall, traded pins with other members, and made new friends from all across the United States,” the school noted.

The students also got to visit Disneyland, Long Beach and Laguna Beach during their trip.

According to the FBLA website, “Future Business Leaders of America is the largest business career and technical student organization in the world.

“Each year, FBLA helps more than 230,000 members in middle school, high school, and college prepare for careers in business.”
