Free aquatic exercise classes are being offered at the Sistersville Pool on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 PM and Friday mornings at 10:30 AM and run for 45 minutes each. Sarah Seabrook, owner and trainer at Prodigy Wellness Center, and her staff are the qualified instructors.

The classes are receiving great reviews and attendance numbers. One participant shared after her initial class she slept better than she had in years!

Sarah explains water aerobics this way. “Water aerobics is a low impact fitness class held in a swimming pool combining aerobic movements with water resistance to improve cardiovascular health, strength, and flexibility. It’s suitable for all fitness levels and is especially beneficial for seniors or those with joint issues, offering a fun, full body workout without the strain of traditional land-based exercises. Entrance to the class is free and is sponsored by the City of Sistersville and municipal funds granted by the Tyler County Commission. The classes will run for six weeks. Pool managers, Amber Nolan and Miranda King, encourage the public to take advantage of the fun aquatic classes before they’re over.
