The annual Picnic In The Park begins 1 p.m. Sunday at Sistersville Park.

The annual Barb Vincent Picnic in the Park will return to Sistersville Park on Sunday, July 6, 2025, with a full day of festivities planned for the whole community.

This year’s event will begin at 1 p.m. with the singing of the national anthem by TCHS student, Chloe Dutton, followed by a presentation of the colors by the American Legion and VFW. From there, visitors can enjoy a variety of activities, entertainment, and food throughout the afternoon and well into the evening.

Five food trucks will be on site offering a range of meals and treats, including Poor Daddy Woodfired Pizza, Black Bear Kitchen, Pressed from St. Marys, Twisted Toppings and Sundays, and Bobbie J’s.

In addition to the food, there will be free swimming at the Sistersville Park Pool from 1:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. and large inflatables will be set up on the park grounds for children to enjoy at no charge.

Live music will be a highlight of the day, with Henrie Lane, featuring local performer P.T. Dabbs, playing from 2 to 4 p.m. at the park shelter, followed by Dustin Kildow on the main stage from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. and then The Travelers from Parkersburg on the main stage from 7 to 9:30 p.m.

The evening will conclude with a fireworks show at dusk, which has become a much-anticipated tradition at the picnic and attracts a large crowd from surrounding communities.

All are invited to attend the picnic, which remains free and open to the public so bring a chair and spend the day with neighbors and friends, enjoying live music, great food, and a spectacular fireworks show at dusk. The Barbara Vincent Picnic in the Park promises a full day of community you don’t want to miss.
