Lodge Secretary James McIntyre Presents Check to Middlebourne Librarian Roseann Eastham.

The Sistersville Elks Lodge 333, through a grant from the Elks National Foundation (Beacon Grant), presented the Sistersville Park and Pool a check for $3,600 to sponsor eight free swim days.

In addition to the free days an additional $500 is being provided for free hot dogs, chips and water this summer. The remaining $1,900 from this grant will be used for the Christmas parties at the local Elementary Schools in December.

The Elks through a separate grant (Gratitude Grant) from the National Foundation for $3,000 presented the Sistersville Public Library, Middlebourne Public Library and Paden City Library each with a $1,000 check for their summer reading programs.
