Patrick Morrisey stops by the Tyler Star News on Oct. 23.

The Tyler Star News had a visitor on Wednesday, October 23, as Patrick Morrisey, candidate for Governor of West Virginia stopped in to pay his respects. Mr. Morrisey was visiting for a town hall meeting at the Fort Restaurant in Downtown Sistersville.

Morrisey with a huge smile on his face could have been our weekly Smiling Faces picture, however his love for our weekly newspaper made this more appropriate.

The Gubernatorial candidate answered questions before a crowd of close to 20 people. Among those in attendance were Tyler County Commissioners Lance Hickman and Mike Smith, and WV Delegate David Kelly.
