A First Friday Art Walk is slated from 5-8 p.m. Sept. 6 in downtown New Martinsville.
Organizer Heather Wetzel Parks, owner of The Book Store, already has several artists and vendors signed up to participate, but is seeking more. Artists, craftspeople, writers, musicians and more who would like to participate can call her at 304-455-5080.
“Main Street will be blocked off from the corner of North to Jefferson with five writers and over 16 artists/craftspeople from all around the Ohio Valley,” she said.
“A wide variety of merchandise will be for sale: soy candles and wax melts, jewelry, prints of original watercolor and acrylic art, body products, wire sculptures, tie dye, car charms and keychains and more.
“Your food options are of course Baristas, Dos Hermanos and Stalder’s, but Black Bear Kitchen and VanCamp Farm’s Blizzard Bites will be set up, too.
