E-911 Director Josh Fulks Cuts Ribbon to Open the New Center

“We officially moved into the new 911 center May 26th, 2022. The first 911 call was answered by Assistant Director James Slider II that afternoon. Tyler County E911 currently has 8 full time dispatchers employed,” stated Josh Fulks. Along with Director Josh Fulks for a total of ten Employees. The center currently runs two dispatchers’ a shift 24/7 coverage.

“I would like to thank all Tyler County Commissioners, past and present that were a part of this project. Our center is now state of the art with all new equipment, and we are ready for any changes that may occur. We could add two more workstations if the need would arise.”

Director Fulks went on to say “I would like to thank Andrew Weekly our IT specialist, Andy spent countless hours at the new center to ensure all the equipment was properly installed. Andy has been invaluable the Tyler County E911 Center.”
