Madeline Cecil

The TCHS Class of 1966 is pleased to announce its scholarship recipient for 2022. The award was presented on Awards Day at Tyler Consolidated High School to Madeline Cecil.

Cecil is the daughter of Aaron and Kelly Cecil of Friendly and will be attending West Liberty University in the fall, majoring in zoo science.

This is the 24th scholarship the Class of 1966 has presented. The $750 scholarship is funded mainly through donations from class members and will be used for tuition or books. Patsy Fletcher, a member of the class, made the presentation. Those attending were Harry Huff, Sam and Nancy Martin, Wayne and Susan Wade and Janet Johnson. Joining the group for breakfast at Bob Evans afterwards were Jim and Kaye Hadley.

We are proud to be furthering the education of a student from Tyler County, a spokesman said.
