KILE TO BE BANQUET SPEAKER!
Benjy Kile is a member of the SHS Class of 1988. After SHS, Benjy studied advertising and marketing at Cornell University and upon graduation in 1992, moved to New York City. His career began as a graphic designer evolving to art director positions for smaller ad agencies and marketing companies. As the internet began to enlarge, he worked in online media for internet start-up companies – eventually becoming Design Director for FOX News online.
Moving back to more traditional and out-of-home marketing, Benjy has most recently worked for Encompass Media Group as Director of Events and Brand Activations – focusing primarily on supporting television and movie debuts and launches. He also coordinates business development and logistics for the company, while still serving a creative role in supervising artwork and print production.
Married to Patricia Ryan in 1996, he has 5 children; Christopher Ryan of Sistersville, Harrison Kile of Washington, D.C. and Oliver, Quentin and Abigail Kile of NYC. Acting on the small town values he was given in Sistersville, he has served on the board of one of the largest Little Leagues in NYC as well as a group of community gardens. He is currently president of a school PTA and has been active within PTA committees at a number of NYC schools for many years. His ties to the support of education can most certainly be attributed to his SHS experience. He is honored to be invited as guest speaker.
