Melinda Yost

Melinda Jane Yost, 51, of Sistersville departed this life Saturday, February 4, 2017 in Genesis Health Care, Sistersville.

She was born January 29, 1966 in Hopewell, Va., a daughter of Roger Yost, Middlebourne and the late Betty Cheeley Yost.

Melinda was a former employee of REM, the Fort in Sistersville and she did private sitting. She was a member of Smith Ridge Chapel.

In addition to her father, she is survived by her step-mother, Madellyn Archer Yost; a brother, Stephen Yost and his wife, Traci; and a sister, Amy Larsen and her husband, Jason all of St. Marys; two nieces, Abby Larsen and Brooke Ash; six nephews, Jace Larsen, Colton Larsen, Hunter Yost, Stephen Yost, Jr., Hunter Williams and Logan Autry.

A graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday at Willow Island Cemetery, Waverly, W.Va., with Pastor James “Bud” Bassett officiating.
