Gary Patterson

Gary E. Patterson, 68, of Middlebourne departed this life Saturday, November 5, 2016 in Camden Clark Memorial Hospital, Parkersburg.

He was born October 4, 1948 in Wetzel County a son of the late Oren Bryson and Juanita Kidder Patterson.

Gary was a retired supervisor at Bayer Chemical, New Martinsville with 34 years of service. He was a member of Alma, Shirley and Middlebourne Volunteer Fire Departments. He was a Methodist.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a granddaughter.

Gary is survived by his wife, Linda Billiter Patterson; three sons; Scott Holmes and his wife, Tammy, Middlebourne, Kevin Holmes and his wife, Paula, New Martinsville and Michael Patterson and his wife, Amber, Middlebourne; two daughters; Anna O’Neil and her husband, Ron, Jr., New Martinsville and Angie Patterson, Weirton; a brother, Steve Patterson and his wife, Kay, Moundsville; ten grandchildren and one great grandson.

Family received friends Monday 1 – 4 and 6 – 8 p.m. at Furbee Funeral Home, Middlebourne where services were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. with Pastor Bill Dawson officiating. Interment in Middlebourne Cemetery.
