Friday night lights: Tyler Consolidated (2-2) travels to Calhoun County (1-3) to take on the Red Devils at 7 p.m.
Paden City’s Wildcats (0-3) play Hundred (0-4) at 7 p.m. at home
Magnolia (0-4) plays Wheeling Central Catholic (3-1) at 7:30 p.m. at home.

In other sports news, the Silver Knights’ boys soccer team lost a tough match 2-0 Wednesday to Linsly.
In volleyball net action, Paden City beat Madonna 25-14, 25-19; lost to Wheeling Central 25-19; 18-25; and 25-20. TCHS beat Shenandoah 25-23, 25-23 and River 25-11, 25-17. Congrats.
Payton Moore’s performance helped Magnolia achieve a score of 313, nine shots better than Bridgeport. River was third with 346, followed by St. Clairsville (351), Barnesville (353), Bishop Donahue (365), Union Local (393) and Buckeye Trail (396).
The Silver Knights’, Wildcats’, Magnolia and River cross country team travels to Grand Vue Park Saturday for the John Marshall Invitational. The challenging course will test anyone’s stamina. Good luck.
