Harold E. Neff, age 88, of St. Marys, W.Va., died Friday, July 1, 2016, at the Marietta Memorial Hospital, Marietta, Ohio.
He was born on August 25, 1927, in Paden City, W.Va., a son of the late Clarence and Christina Slider Neff.
Harold was a retired Maintenance Foreman for the former American Cyanimide, Belmont, W.Va.; a U.S. Navy veteran serving during WWII; and was a member of the Buck Run Church of Christ, American Legion Post 86, Paden City and was an officer for the Willow Island Credit Union.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Florence P. Deaton Neff on May 20, 2010; one son William Douglas Neff on May 11, 2015; two brothers, Jack and William Neff; two sisters, Sondra Feeney and Pearl Hissom; one great-granddaughter, Caitlin Bullman.
Survivors include a daughter, Sue Bullman of St. Marys; two grandsons: Todd and Theron Bullman; one great grandson: James Bullman; one great-great-granddaughter: Josselyn Bullman; two sisters: Shelva (Howard) Buck of Sistersville and Betty Hammel of St. Marys; and several nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at the Myers Funeral Home, 600 Main St., Sistersville, where funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, July 7, 2016 with Ken Keifer officiating.
Interment will follow in the Friendly Cemetery, Friendly, W.Va.
