Folks, I was blessed to be the MC for the first annual Mountaineer pageant on Saturday, with a small but enthusiastic turnout. Also, I was fortunate enough to be the DJ today for the Relay for Life Car Show and Dinner at the Tyler County Fairgrounds. Again, a small but enthusiastic turnout. Without going into too many details, if you are a person that would rather complain rather than do a few seconds' worth of research finding out things to do, you certainly couldn't blame this weekend's weather. SO MANY good things are happening here; if you weren't at either function, I challenge you to read the Star News and/or listen to 91.5 FM, because you'll know what is happening in our neck of the woods.
