Memorial Day weekend is upon us.. For me, I fully understand the meaning of Memorial Day but I really think that meaning has gotten lost in today's society. I have noticed that in recent years, especially here in Tyler County that the meaning of Memorial Day is defined as racing, partying & drinking. So, let us define the true definition of Memorial Day: Memorial Day is a day of remembering the men and women who died while serving in the United States Armed Forces: I will do just that this weekend, I will honor those who have lost their lives for my freedom. What does Memorial Day mean to you?
