Why can't Sistersville do more for Halloween than just have Trick or Treat a couple hours (on a school night I might add) and a parade? Whe couldn't we have a Festival? Have a Halloween dance at the Elks Lodge or Fox's Ballroom? Have games and vendors and local arts set up? Have pumpkin Carving contests, hot apple cider for sale, costume contests, raffles and much more? We could even set up a haunted tour (after all we are historic) or create a haunted house. Show scary films at the Gas Light Theater and etc. There are just a few ideas..
