According to WTOV and the Wheeling Intell, the Ferry has a transmission problem. Now if your transmission goes out on your car, it costs roughly $800-$1000 to fix. I cannot imagine what it would cost for the Ferry. Long past time for the City to let this white elephant go. If the state of WV or a private group can buy the Ferry and keep it running, then I can go for that AND support if wholeheartedly.
